The hearing was called to order at 8:02 p.m.


New Cases

#1466                           Rando, Joseph                           23 Colburn Dr.
Seeking two findings and a special permit relative to proposed sunroom habitable space expansion to a structure on a nonconforming lot.  Property is situated in the Rural 1 Zone within the Groundwater Protection District.


Ed, Richard and Walter are hearing the case.

The notice was read.

Letter from the BOH (10/8) was read.  If tank upgraded to 1500, it would be sufficient for addition.  Conservation Comm. (10/5) letter was read and no issues were noted.

The applicant is proposing a 324 sq. foot conservatory addition; a 12% increase to the current living space.  They are adding a Conservatory were the current screened porch is located.  Another porch will be added to replace the existing porch.  The Conservatory will have heat and cooling and electricity.  There will be a 5 foot French door entryway from current living space to Conservatory.

Vote in Favor:  Ed – Yes; Richard – Yes; Walter – Yes

Standard conditions with new plot plan, no plumbing in conservatory, upgrade septic to 1500 tank, and 5 foot entryway from existing to conservatory.





The next meeting is scheduled for Wed., Oct. 22, 2003 in the Town Hall basement at 8:00 p.m..
